Welcome to The Lumberyard Event Center

The Lumberyard has been part of Wayland’s history since 1898. It is being restored by the Shepherd family, while the outside and roof are being repaired the Shepherd’s are salvaging the original lumber in the barn to create a beautiful and historical venue. We are pleased to share this historic property with the public as a wedding and reception venue and a special events center. We hope that you will enjoy our dedication to the preservation of this priceless part of Wayland history.The Lumberyard Event Center is the perfect place to hold corporate events, family reunions, birthday parties, showers, and of course your wedding and/or reception.
